Hello there and a massive welcome to Purple Ness Creations!
My name’s Vanessa and I am a self taught jewellery maker based in Bristol, UK. I live here with my husband, two children and a small collection of pets. I’ve been making jewellery from a very young age and am generally a bit of a craft addict. I also work in a craft store which is like HEAVEN!
Purple Ness Creations has been running for 4 years now. I have always thought about selling my creations and found myself on maternity leave craving a crafty outlet as a way of regaining some me time. After some encouragement from my friends and family Purple Ness Creations was born.
For those who don’t know the name comes from:
- Purple – my favourite colour
- Ness – my nickname
- Creations – as well as jewellery I dabble in a lot of other crafts so it was important to me to have the option to sell other “creations” too.
I enjoy creating different types of jewellery ranging from customised metal stamped and hammered pieces, faux leather statement earrings, beaded jewellery and I’m currently experimenting with resin too. I have also made polymer clay jewellery in the past and I’m sure it will make an appearance again soon!
My new website has a shop space to browse and purchase my creations. If you want to discuss a custom order please pop me a message via the contact us section. I also wanted a blog space on here so I can share any business updates, jewellery care advice and at some point, hopefully, some craft projects for you all to try at home too.
